JS Commodities was established by Timothy Jackson and Michael Shearer in 1990.

'We are International Rice Brokers specializing in all varieties and origins of Rice available for export. We have built up many relationships with good and reliable Suppliers of Rice and broken rice over the years and are constantly in touch with the market and establishing new Contacts.’

JS Commodities broker approximately 400,000 to 500,000 m/tons of rice and broken rice per year. 

JS Commodities head Office is in London, but we  are also pleased to announce that we have now opened an Office in Thailand which will be run by Khun Sarun Wattanathaworn (Benz). Benz has many years experience working at one of the leading Thai Exporters, one of the top Surveyors and then most recently at one of the leading Trading Companies.. We were very fortunate that he has agreed to join our team.

Timothy Jackson’s Family have been involved in Rice since 1860.

How we work

We issue a Brokers Contract with all the agreed terms and conditions and any disputes and arbitrations are as per the appropriate GAFTA Contract.

We are involved in the transaction, from negotiation and conclusion of the Contract, up until delivery and payment of the goods.

You will usually be assigned one account manager who will be your single point of contact through the purchasing process. All of our team are experienced and knowledgeable so will be able to help with any questions or queries you may have.
